West Campus Procedures

GVA West Campus
 
GVA is not responsible/liable for students or any interactions between students before 7:35 am.
  • If an incident takes place before 7:35 am, it will not be handled by GVA-Aurora.
  • It is not recommended to drop off before 7:35 am unless your child is enrolled in the before care program. You drop off your child before 7:35 am at your own risk.
  • Classes begin at 8:00 am.
Drop Off Procedures
If you are dropping students off at the West Campus only, please enter off of Alameda Ave through the subdivision.
 
Traffic will flow one way only for drop off and pick up around the back of the building.
  • Students must be dropped off at the back of the building and will walk to their designated entryway.
  • 4th & 5th-grade students will go to their homeroom class starting at 7:35 am and breakfast will be served in the classroom. Breakfast is provided for free and reduced lunch or can be purchased by other students.
  • Middle school students will go to their homeroom class starting at 7:55 am and breakfast will be served in the classroom. Breakfast is provided for free and reduced lunch or can be purchased by other students.

Pick Up Procedures-Outside Pick Up Only
If you have students in multiple grades, please pick up your students at the youngest student’s designated pick-up area at the oldest student’s dismissal time.
 
West Campus Students with Siblings at East Campus
  • West Campus students may walk down to the East campus to be picked up with their younger sibling/s.
Early Pick-Up Needs Prior Notice
  • 4th & 5th-grade students cannot be picked up between 2:40 and 3:00 without prior notice.
  • Middle school students cannot be picked up between 2:40 and 3:20 without prior notice.
Student Pick Up Areas
Students will be picked up in their designated area:
  • 4th & 5th grade will be picked up outside in front of the basketball court.
  • 6th grade will be picked up by the main door in the back parking lot.
  • 7th and 8th grade will be picked up by the playground.
  • If you have students in multiple grades, please pick up your students at the youngest student’s designated pick up area.
  • Exiting the West Campus
    To decrease traffic congestion, PLEASE exit right at the roundabout out to Alameda Ave. This will help reduce time sitting in traffic waiting to exit on Airport Blvd.
Safety Alert
Please do not drive against the traffic flow. It puts you and others at risk and slows down traffic. Also, when you pass the drop off lane, do it with care. Always use caution when you drive by a person directing traffic. They are trying to help you get through traffic faster.
