K-5 West Campus Procedures

K-5 West Arrival Process

• The West building opens at 7:35 AM.
• All classes begin at 8:00 AM.
• From 7:35 to 8:00 AM, there is one designated entrance: all students must use the back doors.
• Students arriving after 8:00 AM must enter through the main doors.

K-5 West Building Dismissal Process

• Dismissal time is 3:00 PM
• • There will be two lines:
  • The left line is for pickups.
• The right line is for families who wish to park in the lot and go to the designated door/area for dismissal through the back doors for all students.
• The area is marked by grade level, with students staying together within their specific grade.
• Parents should inform staff members of the student’s full name, grade level, and teacher.
• A staff member will call out your student’s name for release.

Extreme Weather

• In the event of lightning, tornadoes, or other potentially dangerous weather, no students or staff members will go outside until the weather has passed.

Fines for Late Pickup

• East Campus: Starting at 3:20 PM, parents will be fined $1.00 per minute per child if they do not have a student from the West campus.
• West Campus pick-up time is no later than 3:30 PM. Parents will be fined $1.00 per minute per child.

Example: If you or your designated pickup person is 15 minutes late for your two children, you will be fined $30.00) You will be expected to pay at the front desk.
