First Grade
We want our students at GVA Aurora to thrive throughout their academic careers here at GVA-A. To help make this happen, students will be provided with academic summer work to lay the foundation for the skills needed for the upcoming school year.
- We are also hoping to minimize the “summer slide” and help accelerate learning.
- We are hoping our families help support their student(s) in completing the work provided.
- Teachers will not be grading the Summer Work but referring to the skills practiced/learned during the first two weeks of school this summer.
Click on your student's village for next fall. You will find the math, reading, and English links within the folder. Be sure to explore all three links. Your student will be able to practice the reading, math, and social skills needed to begin Kindergarten.
