Free Summer Meals from APS

Aurora Public Schools and the APS Nutrition Services Department offer individual meals to anyone 18 and under from May 27 to August 1. The meals are free to anyone 18 and under and must be eaten on-site.

The following schools and sites will be serving meals at the following times:

Yale: 10:45 - 11:00 a.m.
Tierra Park: 11:15 - 11:30 a.m.
Aurora Hills: 11:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Rocky Ridge Park: 12:15 - 12:30 p.m.
Iowa: 12:45 - 1:00 p.m.
North Middle School: 10:45 - 11:00 a.m.
Hillcrest Village: 11:15 - 11:30 a.m.
Elkhart: 11:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Friendly Village: 12:15 - 12:30 p.m.
Laredo: 12:45 - 1:00 p.m.

The following schools and sites will be serving meals from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:

In addition, free breakfast and lunch will be served at the following Summer School Sites from June 2-27. Breakfast takes place 8-8:30 a.m. and Lunch takes place 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.:

Free Summer Meal Kits from APS

This summer, Aurora Public Schools is offering free meal kits for anyone 18 years and under. From May 28 through August 1, families can pick up a 7-day meal kit—one per child—which includes 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches.

Free Breakfast and Lunch Program

All students enrolled at GVA will receive FREE breakfast and lunch!

While meals will be provided at no cost to all students in participating schools, it's important to continue gathering this information to receive full access to state and federal funding.

Additional funds will go directly to schools to help cover the cost of meals, support after-school activities, and other nutritional programs for students.

Plus, qualifying households may receive discounted school fees, class materials, bus passes, utilities support, and more.

Application Instructions

Register as the administrator and create a username and password.

You will need to fill out an application online and need the following information:

Your income as weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or annually for each household member
Student’s Legal name as it appears on student's enrollment documents. If the student was registered with two last names, you must put both last names on the application under the student’s last name.
