Dear GVA Families,
We have several young entrepreneurs who are currently selling snacks, candy, and drinks to their friends. It’s great that some students are figuring out how to make/create a business, however, it needs to stop.
Selling Snacks/Foods Beverages during the school day is not permitted as outlined in the National School Lunch Program. Selling food and beverages during the day could impact our State and Federal Funding.
The selling of snacks during the school day has also become a distraction for our building, and it disrupts day-to-day learning. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Tenemos varios jóvenes emprendedores que actualmente venden snacks, dulces y bebidas a sus amigos. Es fantástico que algunos estudiantes están descubriendo cómo hacer/crear negocios, pero esto debe parar.
No se permite vender refrigerios/alimentos y bebidas durante el día escolar como se describe en el Programa Nacional de Almuerzos Escolares.
La venta de alimentos y bebidas durante el día podría afectar nuestra financiación estatal y federal.
