Five of our sixth-grade female students joined other students from across the district and participated in a day-long event of hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) experiences.
The girls engaged coding, 3-D design and snap circuits. They also had an opportunity to play virtual reality games, observe a 3-D printer and take fun green screen photos! Female technology leaders guided students through each workshop, reminding the girls that they can do anything their hearts desire.
The girls had an awesome time!
