Working as a sport coach, teacher and administrator, Clifford has developed systemic approaches that have proven to be successful. Specifically, he has expertise in math and business education.
During his tenure as Principal at Pinnacle Charter Middle School (2013-2018), his school was given the Colorado Department of Education’s “Colorado Centers of Excellence Award.” This award recognized public schools in the state of Colorado that enroll a student population of which at least 75 percent are at-risk pupils and that demonstrate the highest rates of student longitudinal growth. Also, during his tenure as a Principal, he had the privilege of being a presenter at the MidSchool Math National Conference hosted yearly in Santa Fe, NM.
Clifford enjoys consulting with schools and educators in the field to assist with school reform in the following areas: College and career readiness, student engagement, English language development, staff development, and parent/community involvement. He is very excited to join the GVA family!
Clifford was born, raised and currently lives in the Denver metro area. He has a son, Cristian, who he is most proud of and is a straight A student!
