Innovation Learning Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is Innovation Learning?

A. Innovation Learning is the only before and after school, and summer camp provider developed and operated by teachers and former school administrators who also happen to be parents of school-aged children. Our team has decades of experience in the classroom, operating before and after school programs and developing camps. We have worked to combine this know-how by providing a program that connects academic support and skill building with fun and play. Collectively, our team has experience working with close to 150 schools to develop PreK through 8th grade before school, after school and vacation day programs. Through this experience, we have learned that no two schools are alike and that it is important to customize our programs for each.

Q. What will my children be doing at Innovation Learning?

A. We create programs where children can be physically active, mentally engaged and creatively inspired while focusing on characteristics rooted in innovation. Children will receive assistance on their homework daily, making sure that each child completes and understands their school work daily. Our Innovation Stations combine STEM-based activities (coding, robotics, engineering) with play, allowing children to dive into projects that are engaging, challenging and fun. Our Discovery Play period allows children to play in a structured setting. Children may engage in team building activities, games, sports and physical fitness activities, all designed to foster an innovative mindset.

Q. Does my child have to attend every day? Can I just Drop In?

A. Your child is welcome to attend as much or little as your lifestyle allows. At Innovation Learning, you control your costs by deciding when to use the program and you only pay for the days your child is scheduled to attend. We do accept “drop-ins,” but we do need all children to be registered in our program beforehand, so we have current contact, emergency and medical information on each child.

Q. How do families register, enroll and pay for Innovation Learning?

A. Families register, enroll and pay for our programs using our secure and convenient online software system. This allows parents to register, enroll and pay at their convenience from any internet-enabled device. Families are set up on an AutoPay system that withdraws payment from their credit card weekly. No payments are collected on site, all families must have a valid credit card on file. They simply click on the orange “Enroll or Login” button on the top right-hand corner of our website and find Global Village Academy in our Colorado Schools Tab. Once you are enrolled you can select your programs. Our programs are separated by campus, K-3 East Campus and 4-6 West Campus. For example, if your child is in 5th grade and wants to attend the PM Program, you would select Gr. 4-6 West - PM Program.

Q. Who do I contact if I have questions about registration, enrollment and payment?

A. You can always access your Parent Portal through our website. Through the Portal, you can adjust your child’s profile, make payments, and access additional resources. If you would prefer to speak with a live person, you can call our Parent Hotline at 866-231-3661. Changes to your child’s attendance schedule must be submitted through Customer Service by Monday of the week prior.

Q. Are there discounts available? What if I can’t afford the program?

A. Innovation Learning offers an Early Registration Discount. All families enrolled before May 30th only need to pay $5 for a family registration fee, a savings of $49.00 per family! We also offer sibling and military discounts to families applied to afternoon programs. Innovation Learning also accepts CCAP. If you are unsure of how to access such assistance, we have personnel who are experts and can assist you in completing an application and submitting it to the state. Additionally, we provide scholarships to each school that we work with and encourage you to either speak directly with your school to see if you qualify or you can contact our Parent Hotline (866-239-3661).

Q. Does Innovation Learning offer programs on days off or vacations?

A. We offer Full-day programs from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm on days off that the school has permitted us to be in the school. We will offer a daily and weekly rate during extended breaks (i.e. Winter and Spring Break). A Minimum requirement of 10 students is necessary to offer any Vacation Day program.
