About Me

Bonjour Dear Parents,

My name is Madame Mouna Belaabbas, and I will be your child’s French Kindergarten teacher this year. I am looking forward to an exciting and productive year with your child. I am originally from Casablanca, Morocco; I've been in the U.S for 18 years, I am a mother of a 16 year old son and his name is Adam. I have a degree in Early Childhood Development; I also have a Bachelor degree in Computer Graphics. Over the years, I have taken many hours of professional development and workshops in order to be prepared to meet each child’s needs. I speak, read and write 4 languages fluently and I traveled all around the world. I have always wanted to work with children, and I am thankful to have a job where I can influence children’s lives every day! I enjoyed each age group in different ways and Teaching has always been my passion. In the past 12 years I have worked as a Kindergarten teacher, I also worked as a French Tutor at Elementary and middle schools of Colorado. I am a loving, self motivated and experienced teacher. I have a good attention to details with every individual child I care for. My mission as a teacher is to help children discover the joy of learning, and to help each child develop a strong belief in his or her own ability. I want them to do their best and to have a sense of pride in doing their personal best. It is also of primary importance to me that my students appreciate and respect other peoples’ differences. I believe every child arrives with his or her own gifts and genius. It is my job to help them reach their highest good.
Together we can make this year the best year possible for your child.
