Stacy received her Bachelor’s Degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and her Master’s Degree for the University of Phoenix. She has over 27 years of experience working in the field of education at both the elementary and secondary levels. She has been a teacher, coach, administrator and program manager for the AVID College and Career Readiness System.
Her passion for student success and desire to see kids’ graduate strong global citizens drives her work toward student excellence. She loves having fun and watching young scholars enjoy the activities every day at school.
As a Colorado native, Stacy enjoys hiking and camping in the mountains, taking her dogs to the dog park, and cheering for the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday and Broncos on Sunday! She has two children, 17 and 19, who she enjoys traveling with all over the country. Most of all, she is very excited to join the GVA Family!
